I am the sole owner and President of Preferred Air. I started this company in 1999, as one man and a van with one goal in mind, becoming the absolute best provider of customer service and quality in our market! Sure, everybody says that. I had to find or create an important statement of purpose to guide me and all my employees to reference in all their interactions with customers. I created this and it has been powerful for us:

This Statement of Purpose combined with a detailed business plan guides our management and employees to do the right things at the right times. We cannot successfully accomplish this goal unless everyone is on the same page. This statement of purpose has also transformed our culture. It helped our employees see beyond being their role as an employee but as a professional that is helping to improve people's lives. Everyone is energized at training as they learn more about indoor air quality and its impact on everyone's health.
About Me:
I was born and raised in Naples and graduated from Barron Collier High School. I graduated Georgia Military College with an Associates Degree and graduated University of South Florida with a Business degree. I got to enjoy the "Army" education program getting commisioned as an officer. I graduated from Ranger School, Airborne School, and French Commando School. I have been married 17 years and have two wonderful children.
Living in Southwest Florida for this long, I have witnessed first hand the growth explosion and also been subject to the absolute lack of professionalism, respect, and follow through that most service industry businesses seem to have. It was amazing to have customers surpised that we showed up when we were supposed to and did what we said we were going to do. Not a very high bar to have to achieve. But for us that was not good enough.

Most air conditioning companies will take the time to figure out how to install your equipment, which help them save money. Very few will take the time necessary to help educate you about your home comfort system. I believe in order for you to become a customer; you must trust that we are the right company to do business with. The more informed you are, the comfortable you will be. Part of this philosopy is making sure you understand the important areas of your home comfort system.
This is why I continually stay educated on air conditioning efficiency and indoor air quality products. I also thoroughly examine a homeowner's house and I map out a variety of options for them based on their stated goals. It is their house and they need to make the best possible decision for their family.
