Florida Power & Light Rebate
The investment is a new air conditioning system could be expensive, but what if there was free money to assist you. Florida Power & Light offers incentives to their customer base to replace their older, inefficient air conditioning systems. The incentive comes in the form of a discount given to you by Preferred Air. We then, in turn fill out an FPL form and have you sign the form and submit it to FPL for payment.
FPL Requirements:
- Proper Licensing
- Permitting of jobs
- Proper copper line set sizes
- Proper sizing of equipment
BEWARE:
FPL's requirements are minimum, yet some installing companies won't offer the rebates because somewhere in their job they are cutting a corner and they know they will get caught by FPL and not get paid back for the rebate.
