For only $850 you can have 10 year Parts and Labor coverage on your existing Carrier equipment if it has installed less that 5 years ago. We would send a technician at no charge to you, to do an inspection report and complete the paperwork for you. Upon receipt of the policy there is a minor waiting period and after that you have full coverage. We have seen coils, compressors, control modules, circuit boards, and more that were still under a parts warranty but still cost the homeowner $500 or more for the labor. Extended warranties for gadgets and minor electronics might not be worth it, but I think it is well worth it for the brutal environment that the air conditioning equipment has to operate in.
